A few things occur to me when I watch this video, and I’d like to share them with you here.
He (Tony Robbins) is talking about being able to achieve an emotional state, not about simply understanding an intellectual idea.
He’s talking about firstly identifying the feeling of CERTAINTY, and then doing everything he can to put himself in that state consistently, rather than hoping it will happen when its helpful, relying on some external force or motivator to push that feeling to the fore.
What you practice (do most often), becomes natural, most of us do not think we have mechanisms to put ourselves ‘in state’ as Tony would refer to it.
Of course, in reality we all do, but they may not be helpful states / feelings!
My next blog will begin to deal with the idea of acknowledging ones influence over our feelings in a given situation.
